Summer is quickly approaching, and this means we all want to look our best. For many, small areas of cosmetic surgery might be helpful to touch up or tighten a problem area.

In addition, you as a client can do a lot to maintain the quality of your skin outside cosmetic treatments – here are some areas to consider.
Exfoliation
No matter what season, winter or summer, skin cells all over the body die regularly. These dead skin cells have to go somewhere, and if you don’t exfoliate, or remove them, they’ll simply sit on the surface of your skin. This can be damaging, preventing healthier layers of skin from growing in properly.
By exfoliating properly, however, you remove these concerns. You allow healthy ski cells to make their way to the surface, bringing a smoother and rejuvenated look to your skin.
Controlling Acne
Many parts of the body are exposed during the summer, not just the face, and acne anywhere can be unsightly. In many cases, a combination of good exfoliation plus a good cleanser (hopefully one that contains benzoyl peroxide) is enough here. If not, and you have significant acne issues, a blue light laser might work as well.
Hair Removal
Great weather during the summer means plenty of chances to spend some time at the beach or pool, and you don’t want unsightly hair getting in the way here. Shaving, waxing or lasering are all good options to get rid of unwanted hair – we recommend wearing loose clothing here to prevent any ingrown hairs. If possible, try to use products that have glycolic acid in them, as this can limit irritation and bumps on the skin after hair removal.
